He was wearing an Officine Panerai watch – an Italian brand that supplied watches to the Italian Naval Divers during WWII….It was a fortuitous turn of events that my dealer asked me if I was interested in a new panerai that had just arrived when the wife was trying her JLC Duetto. Feeling rich that day, I replied,”Sure….Panerai went on to produce several lines of watches for their celebrity friend such as the “Slytech” series. Another is the “Daylight” series….The thing about panerai watches is that it looks rugged, huge (it has been compared with wearing a clock on the wrist)…
